To be eligible for a real estate brokers license the state of Florida requires that you have:

Held an active sales associate license for at least 24 months out of the preceding 5 years

Have completed the 45 hour sales associate post-licensing course

To receive approval to take the state exam you will also need to:

Scheduled an appointment and submitted your fingerprints at: schedule fingerprints
Submitted and received approval of your state application Form RE 2

You can submit your fingerprints and application before, during or after taking the course

The 72-Hour Broker Pre-Licensing course includes:

State approved course and final exam
Live classroom instruction
Textbook
Supplemental study materials
Certification of Completion which is required as proof of course completion
